Twenty members of the UGACRs gathered at Chairman Katie Flanigan's apartment and worked for pride and for pizza as they kicked off phase 1 of "Fundraising project 2006" Friday night by writing letters, addressing envelopes, licking stamps, and enjoying the cameraderie of a college weekend night spent not downtown, but hard at work.
The largest student-political organization in the nation, at over 2,100 members, the University of Georgia College Republicans are one of the hardest-working collegiate associations in America, tirelessly working through initiatives, campaigns, activism, conferences, and several other activites to promote grassroots conservatism and to support and elect Republican candidates.This level of membership and activity does not come without a cost. The UGA College Republicans are a not-for-profit organization whose sole lifeblood is the charitable donations of benevolent citizens, as they receive no funds from liberal academia or from your tax dollars.
