Baldwin: "Cheney is a lying, thieving terrorist"

The always relevant (in his own mind) Alec Baldwin--who said, during the Clinton impeachment proceedings, "if we were in other countries, we would all right now… all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone (committee chair) Henry Hyde to death!…We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we'd kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families!" and said that the 2000 election "did as much damage to the pillars of democracy as terrorists did to the pillars of commerce in New York City"--has now weighed in on the Dick Cheney hunting incident, calling for victim Harry Whittington to "answer...America's prayers" and "get that lying, thieving Cheney into a courtroom to answer some direct questions."

"Cheney is a terrorist," wrote Baldwin on Ariana Huffington's blog http://www.huffingtonpost.com/. "He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately."

"Will they go to court?" he added. "I would imagine if a guy with a few beers in him shoots you in the face on a hunting trip, how could you turn down that opportunity?"

While we only think of Mr. Baldwin if we must--and even then, most unwillingly-- he apparently dwells on Mr. Cheney as much as he dwells on Zell Miller, of whom he said, "I loathe and despise him on a daily basis."
