President of British Columbia Conservative Party meets with UGACR delegation

While attending a workshop on blogging run by La Shawn Barber at CPAC 2006 in Washington, D.C., three UGACR members, Chairman Katie Flanigan, Executive Director Shay Frendt, and PR Director Jeff Emanuel, met with Ryan Warawa, President of the Conservative Party of British Columbia. The UGACR delegation congratulated Mr. Warawa on the recent Conservative party victory in Canada, and both sides shared ideas on several subjects, including running an effective political weblog.
Emanuel also spoke briefly with Stephen Taylor, founding member of the Blogging Tories, who were instrumental in outing the corruption and scandal of the Liberal Paul Martin's government, and in paving the way for the Conservative Party victory.
